Home Visits
Helps to arrange visits in person or by volunteers at home, in hospitals and in nursing homes.
Some areas the SBS can help:
- The Welfare Officer can setup agreed regular visits in person to make sure the person is getting on well in face of specific difficulties.
- The Welfare Officer or a Volunteer can visit the individual simply as a social visit if the person is more isolated, lonely or less mobile. We frequently visit for a nice chat and catch up.
One of the many situations where you or someone you know may benefit from home visits:
Mr. P health has recently deteriorated and feels more vulnerable, his sister, the only relative lives abroad.
